Full uniform should be worn.
Scouts across the world have been involved in wars since WW1, which scouts take on many vital roles to assist Britain in it war efforts and help service their country. Since then many more scouts and loved ones have been involved in many conflicts throughout the world doing their duty.
Scouting throughout the United Kingdom are preparing to join people around the world in remembering the sacrifices of ordinary people who served in extraordinary ways in two world wars.
Remembrance Sunday takes place on the Sunday closest to 11 November every year, to coincide with when the Armistice was signed to mark the end of World War I. People everywhere will stop at 11am and keep silence in remembrance for two minutes.
